Custom Shapes

Four custom shapes created for class in photoshop.

Feather Brush

Using an image of a peacock feather, we had to mask it and make a brush preset in photoshop.

Vector Mask

Used masking to hide part of the image for our assignment in class

Vanishing Point

We had to use the vanishing point filter for our assignment. So, I took this image of a sunset, then inserted this boat into it and used the filter make it look right.

Photo Extraction and Effects

Done for class. I had to extract myself with care and then place myself on a background. The effects are extra.

Custom Tile Textures

For class we needed to come up with two textures that would be seamless for tiling. I came up with a sort of painted drywall texture as well as a floor tile with some wear texture.

Lighting scene

I personally like scripting. Yes, learning a new scripting language can at first be a bit intimidating, but I find myself really enjoying it once I have the hang of it.

So far, I’ve had experience in Actionscript, Javascript, and C, and in each of these I’ve had the opportunity to find interesting work-arounds or useful tricks for problems that have come up and that in itself is enjoyable.

Unfortunately, I haven’t really scratched the surface yet for javascript, but hopefully this semester will prove to be enlightening.

The game I’m wanting to make for myself is probably going to need an intricate trading system in it, so at least I know what I need to be looking for right now.
